Soo.. I have to ask a legitimate question to any Gurren Lagann fans which im sure there are many..

I haven't seen the show yet, is Yoko just the tits and ass of the show? Or is she an actual well developed character??

She's badass, and CAN keep up with the guys, but.. the show doesn't really..let her. Aside in one episode, that generally makes up for the rest.

No I wouldn't say she's well developed character, which is not to say there is no development on her part(no spoiling), but she's not bad either and definitely not just tits and ass. Whole TTGL is mostly about the overarching story and main character, who gets the most development and focus, anyway, and most of the cast are there basically just to move the story forward especially in the first half and set up the second part. It's very well worth a watch, especially the second half is some of the best anime I've ever seen.

She's neither well-developed or just absolute pure fanservice. She's just kinda there and she's like a slight plot device in a way. That said you WILL see moments when she could develop but doesn't, and you WILL see her breasts jiggle but not all the time.

Thank you everyone that took my question seriously. I've seen a picture of her a long time ago and immediately thought "Oh stripper outfit, must be the fanservice of the show." Then would occasionally see gifs of her doing cool shit and thought "Oh, maybe there is more to her after all."

So the image I have in my head currently is kinda like a Faye Valentine vibe. Sexy, but hardly all about that, or is that giving her too much/little credit?
