Sakura is a poor excuse for a female character. She's got physical strength and book-smarts, but she's trapped in this childlike emotional state that's irritating as all get out.

Ino is nothing but a walking plot device, meant to give Sakura more "depth," but failing.

Hinata has absolutely no function in the story. If you clipped her out of the series, it would be no different, except that perhaps Neji's life wouldn't suck so hard.

The only girl present with, at least, a reasonable way to keep her hat in that position on her head is Tenten. Her hair-buns are ideal to help keep it in place naturally.
