She's a terribly-written character, but I don't think that she's the worst.

She's strong compared to the other undeveloped characters. It's just that her personality is atrocious, but I think it's because Kishi doesn't understand females

Goes to show you people never even bothered to read this manga. You know next to nothing about it. All i see is hear say and fanfiction bullcrap.

So you don't die in ignorance, Kishimoto himself wrote he doesn't do well with either drawing or writing female characters and that he had to make do.

So what you think is irelevant of the man himself said so.

Also, this is shounen. Either fucking understand what the fuck manga means or don't deep throat your foot. Fucking morons.

Kishimoto seriously destroyed Sakura (one of it's most developed female characters) in less than two chapters. And what's his excuse, not having her being a horrible woman for changing her feelings...So what's Naruto's explanation for going over to Hinata? Were Naruto's actions not horrible then for stopping loving Sakura? Not to mention all the NaruSaku hints he dished throughout the series.
Kishimoto did indeed wrote a great concept. But the man can't follow on the logic of his own writing.

Actually, Naruto did love Sakura. In first gen. but in shippudden, right off the bat you could feel the feelings were no longer romantic on his part. As to turning to Hinata, it came later. I understand it will be developped in the last movie, which is couple years after the war.

Liked Sakura, not loved. Hinata was called his "first love".

True enough, we can debate if naruto's feelings for sakura during first gen were true love or childish love. But either way, these changed into simple, albeit very strong, frienship feelings by the time naruto came back from his 3 years of training.

I'm going to say this, again. I don't think she is a poorly written character. I respect your opinion but Sakura isn't badly written. Misunderstood? Yes. When in love you are weak but you can make that weakness your strong hold. When you care for someone so much it can make you weak, but also make you strong (like Naruto). She took that weakness and made it her strive to move forward (like Naruto). And if you are going to laugh at her for being in love with a bad character or forgiving Sasuke (like WHO?) but yet if a male character did the same, wouldn't you love his character for it? Ex: Kirito, Renton Thurston and so many more. I believe Sakura is a amazing woman and strong as hell for not letting go of Sasuke, to burden so much hurt (JUST LIKE NARUTO). In short, Sakura is just like Naruto, just a female.

Kishi believes women are inferior to men. There is no recipe how to write females differently than males. Gaara could have been a girl and nothing would have changed. Kishi is just delusional and sexist, believing women are creatures from Planet Inferior.
