Well since everyone is stupid enough to think Sarada is not Sakura's daughter, lets go ahead and say that Chou-Chou is not Choji's daughter cause neither Choji nor Karui have that hair style. That means its Temaris and Karuis daughter.

Because you other example doesn't have an actual canon manga chapter implying exactly that?

Don't get me wrong, it's probably a red herring, but comparing a theory suggested by the manga itself to a theory pulled out of thin air is senseless.

Then again, said theory goes against the databooks, apparently. Not hard to guess that it's another attempt at misguiding the readers to better surprise them later. Just like when tobi first claimed to be Madara, at the time it felt real and dismissed Tobi == Obito, but later Tobi proved to be Obito all along (with hints here and there). Misguiding the readers. ;)

I can't really translate what Omoi is saying, but Karui is starting off with, "One sweet is enough!" And then scolding him for the way in which he's holding Chouchou because she feels it's dangerous.
