Thank goodness I'm not the only one thinking it. The first episodes where all right I guess but I lost interest when they stopped telling a real story. I only saw a little Shippuuden in passing, my brother likes it more than me. All I remember is a series of 8 episodes straight that all focused on the same fight that was mostly dialog and the title character was nowhere to be seen. I'd rather watch Haruhi's Endless Eight again than that.
