Anon : and let's notice that the kids will notice that the clone is a close, since they're so close to him. That's further mentionned when, having to go on mission to seek Sasuke for an audiance, Naruto leaves a clone at the village but also states he's sorry about that, implying the "ruse" will not work.

"I highly doubt Naruto is being negligent"

Except he is, whether it's intentional or not. Yeah, we get it, he has responsibilities, that's not the point. That goes without saying, which is why you never say it, because the second you do is when you're clearly using it as an excuse for your behavior. You don't say "I have responsibilities, so suck it up" when you spend so little time with your son he's pulling pranks, you say "I'm sorry." Welcome to parenthood and marriage, you no longer live in a vacuum.

I do not mind a story, where on the one side we have Naruto, who should leave the fate of the world to his advisors from time to time to spend more time with his family, and on the other side we have Boruto a spiteful teenager, who blows things out of proportion. You know, where both are at fault and both have to work on it.

But Gaiden has made me very worried. Sasuke basically didn't take any blame for never seeing his daughter in her whole life and nothing indicates that things are going to be better within their family in the future. If the message of this movie is for Boruto to just get over it, that's going to suck.
