To think that once I could not see beyond the veil of our reality. To see those who dwell behind. I was once a fool.

From what I can recall, The Lovecraft foundation doesn't take kindly to unauthorized use of it's materials... They sued Atlus over the original Megami Tensei games for using Lovecraftian mythos without authorization. If KC intends to utilize this in a for-profit book, he's gonna have a bit of a problem there...
Now onto the character itself... The french-maid motif threw me off. We've already got a Maid MG, so it's not entirely original on this one. She's... interesting, but my knowledge of the mythos is limited. We'll just have to wait and see on the translation.

The french-maid theme is actually a really clever reference to the origins of the Shoggoth species! They were originally created by the Elder Things as a servant race to handle day to day tasks. In essence they were giant, shapeshifting butlers and maids (and construction equipment but that's beside the point). I have to admit, I didn't think KC would be a fan of "At The Mountains of Madness).

Huh. I just realized. I am willing to bet that the next entry after the Shoggoth is going to be Nightgaunts, probably as a form succubus.
Lovecraft style ghouls are probably no-go since there's already a ghoul entry
tindalos hound probably won't see love, though the concept of a monstergirl that hunts you down to the ends of the earth through dimensions is amazing.
As for the person worried about the lovecraft foundation, I think its way past time for them to be worrying about that given how many people write stuff with the cthulu mythos. The original Megami Tensei was over 20 years ago now. And they would probably rather not have any attention brought to this at all.
