Where does that tendency to make Mitsuki descend from Orochimaru come from ? They have nothing in common physically or spiritually. I can see some say they have the same eyes but they have not : Mitsuki are regular human eyes despite their golden color, while Orochimaru's eyes are snake eyes.

From what i've read here and there, Mitsuki originates from Kirigakure but transfered to Konoha at a young age.

According to spoilers from the newest movie, Mitsuki is indeed Orochimaru's son, but I suspect he may just be another one of his test subjects.
