This coming from a guy like Sasuke is sort of like Naruto saying he'll give up. Sasuke's normal/former personality (an arrogant douche who blames his problems on everyone else and refuses to accept his own faults) makes this pathetic attempt of an apology quite meaningful actually. That's how I see it anyway.
