This could not be the final one, as anyone having read the manga version knew already at the time, though i won't give away the reasons because they are major spoilers.
However, i do agree with you guys that i expected the one after it to be the last, and obviously it's not going to be the case. Instead we entered a time filled with filler episodes expanding on the dreams various characters are having withing the Infinite Tsukoyomi. Which is not a bad idea overall, granted they don't implement horrendous ideas for dreams like mixing the naruto universe with the super sentai genre, which should remain separate things.
Yes, they mixed those 2 in Killer Bee's dream, making a 9-members jinchuuriki power rangers team. God that was painful to watch...
