This is by a Yaoi based artist so I'm pretty sure it is a boy. Besides mermen are based off fantasy, so who knows what they got going on down there.

What an artist mostly draws is not the basis of tagging; a known yaoi artist can also draw the occasional non-yaoi material. You must go by the tag what you see policy and a vagina filled with cum does not qualify for the yaoi tag.

Even if it's male in the anime, if they rule63 it, then it's no longer
male. There is no evidence in this picture of the character being male. If it was a cloaca you'd see evidence of the penis with it spread that wide, and males do not have nipples that big. Small tits does not constitute as male. Seriously though, someone needs to put their foot down on this ass-backwards tagging. When I first searched "monster boy", half or more of the pictures that came up were obvious females, huge tits, no dick. It's bad when you can't even get the right sex that you're searching for.. Just broken..
