Interesting fact though: long before nyan cat was even a thing, this song was common in a series of Japanese memes, often going by names like 'nyanyanyanya' etc, where a character would bob or dance back and forth with an object or symbol that was synonymous with that character flying around in the background. This clip is reminiscent of said meme.

I only mention this, because I'm gonna pull a hipster and say I liked the song and the meme it was associated before it most people knew about it. Also because I'm a little bitter that the song used in the memes was swiped for that cancer-laden nyan cat bullshit.
