I remember reading about a program on lifehacker that would let you see what an image had been edited in. Evidently after you edit an image in photoshop or any other editor, it leaves behind specific traits in the image that the software could check for to find out if it's been opened in any editor since it's original capture by camera. If anyones desperate you could probably just dig through lifehacker until you find it.
