No, Len's True form. According to the Vocaloid story.
He was a lonely genius and wanted a friend so he built Rin. After he built her she was still "just a robot" and couldn't understand human emotion.
Taking the rest of his life he made 2 things, a "heart" for Rin a second robot of himself so he would live long enough to be with her.
Hundreds of years later They met again and they are technically Siblings created by their father Len and lovers because Len is still Len
