As for myself i'm usually more of a fire and dark type fan and user (though i don't refuse other types) so i'd prefer the fire starter most of the time. Only generation where i'm having second thought about that are Gen 3 (Treecko and Cyndaquil being quite the equal pair on the long run) and gen 6 (my god, Fenneking, what did they do to your moveset compatibility ? You're poor as a psychic and average as a fire !)

I'm hoping Litten comes with a dark dual type during its evolution process if not from the start. I've been waiting for just that ever since Houndoom. :D
