Cute, but it doesn't make sense in the series. HOW would Future Trunks even end up with her? Main timeline Mai was changed into a child just before Beerus showed up. The future timeline would not have had any of this even happen, right? The dragon balls were lost due to Piccolo's death right before the cell saga, so how would Mai and the gang have been turned into children? It could jjst be a case of forgetfulness on Toryama's part, or he just wanted both timeline's Trunks to have the same girlfriend

Actually most people think the wish happened around the android saga, so they would have been wished into babies, and would be preteens/young teens by super. It would also be a way to explain why goku wasn't wished back immediately upon his death from the heart virus, because emperor Pilaf had already mad a wish on the dragon recently.
