That would be really interesting, but didn't Subaru respawn on a bed once, so it doesn't seem to be the case.

Games always have multiple save points/bonfires.
In all seriousness though it is peculiar that this is the 2nd time Subaru has found his restart spot in front of Mr.SavePoint. We'll just have to wait and see if it really means anything.
