source please... or more like - stop uploading without some kind of source... it's getting old, finding something nice on here, not having a source from the upload, searching for hours in hope of finding it and propably giving up at some point -.- at least add the 'source request' tag

I always wonder if uploaders ever knew the source, or if they just gathered gifs or webms from sites like this one, where no source was listed. Perhaps always adding "source_request" would make it clear that they themselves don't know the source either, and it would keep some of the people here from being so angry about a lack of one.

don't get me wrong here, i'm not angry, just somewhat... anoyed i guess. lots of good gifs/pics/webms get on here every day and so many just don't get tagged that it gets tiring trying to look them up. just adding the 'source request' tag can't be to much to ask right?

Oh, I agree with you - I think that tag should be added as a standard to anything that doesn't have a source, particularly gifs and webms. I didn't mean YOU were angry about it, and it can definitely be frustrating trying to find the source for something. It's just that some people act like they think the uploader knows the source and is deliberately withholding it. I have a hard time believing that's usually the case, particularly from uploaders who provide a great deal of content. I should have been clearer. :)
