Select "View image," and in the address bar, change "_540" to "_1280"

For example the link to this image is 68.media.tumblr.com/a6a76...of51i8hmxS1r5ij5x_540.png

and you'd change that to

68.media.tumblr.com/a6a76...f51i8hmxS1r5ij5x_1280.png

tumblr is stupid like that, I know.
