Sucking her soul out of her body. If you played Final Fantasy 5, you'd notice this monster is a Boss, and she's located in the graveyard for lost ships. She sucks the soul out of Butz, Faris, and Princess Lenna. Only Galuf is unchanged because he doesn't fall under the curse because he has amnesia, and in order for the curse to work, your loved ones have to be used against you. Since Galuf couldn't remember his loved ones, he didn't fall victim and rescued the others from it.

Actually, she is bear-hugging her. If you remember, Siren had the "Bearhug" move as a counterattack in her zombie form.
