アデリナ：おかしいわ・・・・・・。なぜ見つからないの？
この世界の神に抵抗できるくらいの信者を集め、いよいよ神に対して喧嘩を仕掛けることにしたアデリナ。
だが、その神の御座所は杳として知れない。まるで、神など存在していないかのように。
アデリナ：（まさか、本当に神などいないの？いえ、でも、それでは今の現象は説明がつがないわ・・・・・・）
アデリナ：（人が起こした現象ならどこかに綻びは出てくるはず。何も手がかりがないってどういうこと？）
思考を巡らせるアデリナの元に信者の男たちが近づいてくる。また文句を言いに来たのだ。
信者A：アデリナ様・・・・・・。この世界の神とやらは見つかりましたか？
アデリナ：・・・・・・。まだ見つからないわ。今日の報告をくれるかしら？
無礼な物言いにはぐっと目をつむり、あくまで事務的な返事をする。
信者A：おかしいですな。これほど探しているのに、まだ見つからないとは。
信者A：アデリナ様は、毎日のように私たちに命令を出して、一体何を達成しようとしているのですかな？
アデリナ：何を言いたいのかしら？ 言いたいことがあるならハッキリ言いなさい。
信者A：つまりですね、もうこれ以上、アンタにこき使われるのはゴメンだってことです。
あまりの物言いに、アデリナは一度目を閉じて息を整える必要があった。神である自分に何という言い草か。
アデリナ：今の発言は不問にしてあげるわ。出ていくのなら、勝手に出ていきなさい。
信者A：いいえ。出ていきません。今までこき使われた分の対価を支払って頂かないと。
アデリナ：衣食住を提供してあげたのに一体何が必要だと言うの？
信者A：そうですね・・・・・・。アデリナ様を、好きにさせて頂く。と、言ったらどうされますか？
アデリナ：どうするかなんて分かっているでしょ。痛い目を見る前にさっさと出ていきなさい！
信者A：おっと、そうは行きませんよ！
男の合図で、別の男が何かを引きずりながら部屋に入ってくる。
見ると、引きずられているのは殴られてボロボロになうた司祭だった。
司祭：アデリナ様・・・・・・。もうしわけ、ありません・・・・・・。
アデリナ：ち、ちょっと！ しっかりなさいよ！
男は司祭の喉元にナイフを突きつける。
信者A：おっと。それ以上は近づかない方がよろしいかと。
アデリナ：アンタ！どれだけ外道なの！こんなこともう止めなさい！
信者A：いいえ。やめません。神を抱いたとなれば自慢になりますから。
信者A：さぁ、この男を殺されたくなければ言う事を聞いて下さい。
自らを信じ、また自分も信頼をしていた信者たちの裏切りに、アデリナは正常な判断ができない。
アデリナ：・・・・・・いいわ。好きにしなさい。
アデリナの言葉に、信者の男は舌なめずりをしてほくそ笑んだ。

信者A：おっと、そうは行きませんよ！
男の合図で、別の男が何かを引きずりながら部屋に入ってくる。
見ると、引きずられているのは殴られてボロボロになうた司祭だった。
司祭：アデリナ様・・・・・・。もうしわけ、ありません・・・・・・。
アデリナ：ち、ちょっと！ しっかりなさいよ！
男は司祭の喉元にナイフを突きつける。
信者A：おっと。それ以上は近づかない方がよろしいかと。
アデリナ：アンタ！どれだけ外道なの！こんなこともう止めなさい！
信者A：いいえ。やめません。神を抱いたとなれば自慢になりますから。
信者A：さぁ、この男を殺されたくなければ言う事を聞いて下さい。
自らを信じ、また自分も信頼をしていた信者たちの裏切りに、アデリナは正常な判断ができない。

Adelina: How strange... Why can't we find it?
Adelina had gathered enough believers to resist the god of this world, and finally decided to set up a fight against it.
Yet the god's whereabouts were still totally unknown. It was almost as if the god didn't exist.
Adelina: (I wonder if there even is a real god? Yet that wouldn't explain the things we've been seeing......)
Adelina: (If it's the work of men, there must be a crack at the seams somewhere. How could there be no clues whatsoever?)
As Adelina was lost in thought, her followers approached. They seemed to have a complaint.
Believer A: Lady Adelina... Have you finally found the god, or whatever?
Adelina: ...... Nothing yet. Could you give me today's report?
Turning a blind eye to the rude remark by the priest, she gave him a curt, clerical reply.
Believer A: How strange. We've searched high and low, but still nothing.
Believer A: You give us orders every day, Lady Adelina, but what on Earth is your ultimate goal here?
Adelina: What are you trying to say? If there's something you want, spit it out.
Believer A: In other words, we won't stand for being bossed around by you any longer.
Shocked by this remark, Adelina had to close her eyes and breathe deep. What a way of speaking to a god.
Adelina: I'll disregard your last outburst. If you want to leave, you're free to do so.
Believer A: That won't do. We are going nowhere. We have to get some payback for all the work you made us do.
Adelina: I gave you food, clothing, and shelter...just what do you need?
Believer A: Well... We want to have our way with you, Lady Adelina. What would be your reaction to that?
Adelina: You already know. I don't need to spell it out. If you don't want to be in a world of hurt, leave at once!
Believer A: No, no, no, that won't do at all.
The man gave a signal, and another man came dragging something into the room.
Adelina looked over, and saw her priest, beat up by the followers, being dragged into the room.
Priest: Lady Adelina... I...I'm sorry......
Adelina: H-hey...what's gotten into you?
The man held a knife to the priest's throat.
Believer A: Oh, dear. You'd best not get any closer.
Adelina: You immoral cretin! Cease this at once!
Believer A: That won't do. We have no plans of stopping. We'll be able to brag to the others about having fucked a god.
Believer A: If you don't want him killed, you'd best do as we say.
Adelina found herself totally unable to react to her followers' betrayal, since they had believed in her and she had trusted them.
Adelina: ......very well. Do as you please.
Hearing that, the man licked his lips and chuckled to himself.
