It's obvious it's FR/LG design to the left and the original design in the middle, but the left's weird. Pokémon Yellow had the same Red as R/B ingame.

Kinda looks like Ash's original getup on the right (Season 1) but the hat's different. Pokémon Yellow makes sense, but I guess seeing as it was based on the show anyway, it can go either way.

Wonder why they went with ice Pokémon instead of water for blue.

Well I think you're all wrong but I might also be wrong. My theory is:

First one is the manga Red
The middle one is the game Red (the original)
The last one is Ash from the anime

I guess it's trying to show Red's three counterparts. Yeah ._.
