I'll never understand the appeal of cat girls. And by that, I mean "girls with cat ears in their hair and a natural tail" that I've seen countless times in anime. Take away the ears and tail and all you've got is a human girl. Not to mention it's really creepy from an anatomical standpoint: Are the cat ears just a part of their hairstyle, or fully-functioning ears. If it's the latter, than that means the girl has FOUR ears. And I highly, highly doubt anyone would find something like that appealing.
