Now Viewing: an_renTag type: Character An Ren is a minor female character in RWBY. An Ren was the mother of Lie_Ren and wife of Li_Ren. She first appeared in "Kuroyuri" [spoilers omitted]. She had dusky rose hair held in a bun by a gray band and pink_eyes, and wore a long green_dress with long sleeves and cutouts on the shoulders, black ballet flats and a pink sash. It can be surmised that Lie got his pink eyes and hair streak from her. She enjoyed looking after her son, being very thoughtful for his well-being even in situations that could upset him. An (安) is Chinese for "peace, quiet," associated with the color white. It also means "heaven, sky" in Sumerian. An Ren is voiced by Dawn M. Bennett [1].
