Now Viewing: aono_tsukuneTag type: Character The male protagonist of Rosario+Vampire. He is a black haired teenage boy and the only normal human in Youkai Academy. As humans aren't supposed to know about the school, this poses serious problems for him since he does not have the physical advantages that the super powered students of the school have. Fortunately, he establishes a strong relationship with Akashiya Moka whose alternate personality Inner Moka is more than capable of defending him though as payment, she often sucks his blood. Initially he is quite terrified of his surroundings and often has to run and let Inner Moka defeat whatever opponent is antagonizing him, but he grows much stronger over the course of story. He also becomes less and less 'normal' as he grows accustomed to the Academy. He is a friendly young man who goes out of his way to help others. This kindness of his is likely why he attracts so many women and most of his female friends become his love interests. He, however, is not interested in a harem and doesn't enjoy having the girls fighting over him, but he values their companionship.
