Now Viewing: godotTag type: Character A dark skinned white haired man who wears a visor on his head to help him see. He is Ryuichi's rival in Gyakuten Saiban 3 and a prosecutor who boasts that he has never lost a case, but he admits that's because he has only recently become a prosecutor. Nevertheless, he is an intelligent, calm, and fearsome man. Ryuichi is initially afraid of his visor because he was concerned that it might fire lasers and Godot manages to remain calm even when dealing with belligerent suspects. He is quite rude and disdainful towards Ryuichi. In the Japanese version, he intentionally mispronounced Ryuichi's family name Naruhodo as Maruhodo and in the English version calls him Trite instead of Wright. He is also obsessed with coffee and often drinks more than 10 cups in one court session and has a habit of delivering poetic but often nonsensical metaphors relating to coffee. He is voiced by Kamiya Hideki in the Japanese version, the same person who directed Viewtiful Joe and Devil May Cry 1.
