He is a very energetic and fun-loving boy and often uses his connections to throw wild and large parties. He gets scared very easily and tries to stay out of danger as much as possible. At the same time, JK also prevents Gentarou from defeating Nitta's Zodiarts by stealing Fourze's electric switch. JK's cynical and manipulative nature eventually backfires on him as his 'friends' refuse to help JK when he is captured by Nitta and needs help most. His manipulation also got him into his plight in the first place as Nitta is angry about being used as a human shield by JK to protect the boy from bullies. JK is only saved thanks to Gentarou, an act that surprises everyone as Gentarou had also been a victim of JK's manipulation. JK, moved by Gentarou's compassion, decides to help out Gentarou by returning the electric switch and considers Gentarou to be a real friend. JK then becomes a member of the Kamen Rider Club and uses his many connections to assist the Kamen Rider Club in investigations. Although JK retains his timidity, he gradually becomes less selfish in personality. JK is also a skilled dancer and specializes in breakdancing.
