He debuted in the Yellow Trailer and eventually resurfaces in the second season of RWBY. He is associated with the thief Roman Torchwick who makes an unvoiced cameo in the Yellow Trailer. He is easily distracted by attractive women which Yang exploits to her advantage. Despite his attraction to her, he decides to kill Yang after she humiliates him by putting his testicles in a death grip while she was interrogating him in front of his men. After Yang defeats him and all of his henchmen, he becomes Yang's source of information about the criminal underworld. His men have also developed a fear of Yang and he himself prefers to just give her the information she wants rather than fight her again. In combat, he wields a bazooka that can be turned into a baseball bat. Like Yang, he is based off of the Goldilocks and the Three Bears story. His family name means bear in Chinese. He is voiced by Jack Patillo. The interaction between Junior and Yang is based off of Rooster Teeth in jokes as well as a real life conversation between the voice actors Patillo and Barbara Dunkelmann. Both voice actors also happen to share some physical traits with the characters they played: Jack and Junior have beards and Barbara and Yang are both blonde. He was originally meant to be voiced by British Rooster Teeth member Gavin Free.
