She is a major character in the fourth case of the game. She appears to be a serious and seemingly cold woman, but as the case goes on, Ryuuichi discovers that she has strong co-dependency issues and often emotionally latches on to others, particularly strong women. When her mentor Amano Yurie died, she was deeply devastated. Things continue to get worse for her when she is accused of a murder that she did not commit sending her dangerously close to a public mental breakdown as well as putting her life in danger. She develops a close relationship with Karuma Mei and becomes dependent on her. The generally rude Mei is notably nicer to her.
