Meimu (Simp. Chinese: 冥梦, Trad. Chinese: 冥夢, Pinyin: Míng mèng; Japanese: 冥梦 Meimu) is a Chinese fan-made character created by Chinese artist 淫火啲虫 (Pinyin: Yín huǒ di chóng), who also goes by the nickname AUER, when Hakurei_Reimu lost in a character popularity poll.

She's a Hakurei Reimu lookalike youkai discovered by Yakumo_Yukari and has powers over both boundaries and borders.

Her name Meimu (冥梦) means "dark dream" and is intended to sound a lot like Reimu's. The first hanzi, 冥 (Pinyin: míng; Romaji: mei) means "dark or "deep" while 梦 (Pinyin: mèng; Romaji: mu) means "dream".
