He is a transfer student from Subaruboshi High and wears said high school's uniform when attending Amanogawa. His default casual outfit is also brown: consisting of a long coat and a scarf. He is one of the main characters of Kamen_Rider_Fourze. Unlike Gentarou, he keeps his identity as a Kamen Rider a secret. Ryuusei is in fact Kamen_Rider_Meteor. He is part of the Anti Zodiarts Union and works for the mysterious Tachibana who mandates that Ryuusei to keep his identity as Meteor secret. Ryuusei transfers into Amanogawa High and infiltrates the Kamen Rider Club. At Amanogawa High, Ryuusei presents himself as a shy, but polite and friendly boy. Everyone, except Gentarou, believes Ryuusei's persona. Although Gentarou doesn't know why Ryuusei is faking his persona, he correctly deduces that Ryuusei is hiding something, which is why he initially does not accept Ryuusei into the Kamen Rider Club, stating that the two of them can't really be friends if Ryuusei won't show his true self. Ryuusei's true personality is much less friendly. In reality, he is a very serious young man who like many others, initially disdains Gentarou's idea of friendship. However, Ryuusei is motivated by his friendship with Sasaki Jirou who is stuck in a hospital thanks to pressing a Zodiarts Switch. Ryuusei feels intense guilt over being unable to help his friend and is willing to do anything to save his friend. Ryuusei tends to lose his composure and shows his true self whenever something that threatens his quest to save Jirou happens. He is pursuing the Aries Zodiarts who he suspects has the ability to revive Jirou. Ryuusei is also more compassionate than he presents himself. Although Ryuusei initially holds the Kamen Rider club in contempt, he gradually grows to think of them as actual friends the more he spends time with them and even helps them with their personal problems. He develops a particular soft spot and attraction towards Nozawa Tomoko. He is notably one of the few characters in the series to get extended inner monologues, often to contrast what he's really thinking with his outer persona. He is a proficient martial artist and uses Jeet Kune Do, complete with Bruce Lee style battle cries. He is played by Yoshizawa Ryo.
