Now Viewing: taigei_(kantai_collection)Tag type: Character 大鯨 ("Great Whale") Taigei is the personification of Submarine Tender Taigei, later known as Light Aircraft Carrier Ryuuhou, in the game Kantai_Collection. Voiced by Ogura_Yui [1]. She wears a white and blue serafuku with a red tie (identical to Shigure_(Kantai_Collection)'s Kai2) under an apron with a picture of a whale on it. A whale-shaped pin is placed on the apron, at the level of her right kidney. On her back is her smokestack and a crane, hanging from her right shoulder is a bag full of torpedoes (presumably to refill her submarines, considering that she cannot use them) and she holds a bucket full of veggies. On her neck is either a tiny whale necklace or a blue magatama. Additionally, she wears black_pantyhose and sandals. She has dark purple_hair with low_twintails, feathered hair flaps and a ahoge as well as red_eyes. Attempts to obtain her are unsurprisingly called "Whaling". Taigei changes her name to Ryuuhou_(Kantai_Collection) after some remodeling. She is one of two shipgirls who change name after remodeling (the other is Hibiki_(Kantai_Collection), who becomes Verniy_(Kantai_Collection) as her Kai 2) and one of four shipgirls who functions differently after a remodelling (the Chitose_(Kantai_Collection)-Chiyoda_(Kantai_Collection)-class]] relinquishes their ability to launch seaplanes for the ability to launch carrier planes and Akitsu_Maru_(Kantai_Collection) gains the ability to launch her own type of planes).
