He also wrote and directed one anime adaptation of said series. He started off contributing short manga to various magazines before moving to Tokyo in 1976, to study under the famed Tezuka Osamu, who is credited with inventing the basic anime/manga style. In 1977, Terasawa began working with Weekly Shonen Jump. He often makes his male protagonists quite muscular. His series often have a lot of sexy scantily clad women.
