She often carries around a leek and originates in a Vocaloid version of the Loituma Girl meme where Miku in a super deformed form with the aforementioned expression. However, Hachune is generally considered to be a separate entity from regular Miku. Hachune has also appeared in the Project Diva games alongside other fan created but officially recognized characters like Haku_Yowane, Akita Neru, and Takoluka.
