An archer carrier, she wields a bow_(weapon) and carries a quiver on her back. Her flight deck is attached to her left arm. She has medium-length dark blue_hair in a ponytail. The very first ship designed and built as an aircraft carrier to be completed [1], she has a personal tag named "Mother of all Aircraft Carriers" (全ての空母の母) with art depicting Houshou with various levels of maternal character (motherly). Also known as "O-kan" (お艦) for her maternal character, though this tag is also shared with other doting ships, Ikazuchi_(Kantai_Collection) being one of them. Sometimes seen as the proprietress of a bar or a restaurant, stemming from one of Chitose_(Kantai_Collection)'s hourly lines.
