Now Viewing: isilTag type: Copyright The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL), formerly known as the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS), and self-titled simply as Islamic State, is a pretty hardcore Islamic Jihadist terrorist group active in the Near East, which, thanks to the misery that is called the Syrian Civil War, took control of large swaths of land in 2014, which they operate on basically as a mad government. They unanimously prefer to impose hardcore sharia law on their territory, to sexually enslave women, to behead journalists and other people, and they generally want to rape anyone's sorry ass who doesn't believe in their version of sharia or offends Islam. They also love the Web 2.0 and probably make at least 5 Twitter and 1 Instagram profile daily to keep up foreign PR activity despite the constant banning. Bored and wealthy teenagers from the West travel to join ISIL in their quest to fulfill their wannabe revolutionist/rebel dreams, but usually the boys get killed, and the girls get raped and want to go back home. These Jihadist gentlemen as a collective now unknowingly have a mascot or personification of sorts, which is ISIS-chan. Ironically and perhaps fittingly, in her depictions, ISIS-chan dresses kind of immodest considering any sharia law in the world.
