Known for the line "sou da yo", making him well suited for dialogues with Touhou's Rumia ("sou nano ka") (Is_that_so). Because he seems spaced-out and contributes little to the conversation, he is often called a retard (chishou 池沼), but can at times be a wise general (chishou 知将). He may also be a priest (sou 僧) of the Binjou (便乗; "chiming in") sect of Buddhism.
