She is the personification of the historical ship of the same name, named after Nagato Province. In Kantai Collection, Nagato has long, black_hair and red_eyes. She wears a black and white japanese-style shirt with yellow trimming, black, fingerless elbow gloves (again with yellow trimming) and a short, white, pleated skirt with a black stripe along the brim. She also wears a metallic garter_belt which holds in place her black and maroon thighhighs. On her head is her peculiar headgear which features the various details of the top of her main tower. She is often portrayed as cool and professional if a bit prideful, being one (and the first) of the Big 7 battleships allowed to mount 16-inch guns (along with Mutsu_(Kantai_Collection)). However, she secretly likes cute things. Her cute-loving side has earned her the nickname "Nagamon". In the 2015 anime, she is the Admiral_(Kantai_Collection)'s secretary ship. After the war, she was used along with Sakawa_(Kantai_Collection) and Prinz_Eugen_(Kantai_Collection) as a target at Bikini Atoll during Operation Crossroads. She was sunk after the Baker test from a combination of damage sustained on the attack on Yokosuka and the two nuclear tests. Despite being fairly popular, possessing figurines, an official subreddit (r/OneTrueShipfu) and holding an important role in the official anime, Nagato has no remodel, and no hourlies. She does, however, have a custom swimsuit that was featured in the anime (post #2654420) which makes up for he lack of hourlies entirely. It is a white_swimsuit styled as a criss-cross_halter, halter_top bikini, with a pair of white_panties (highleg_panties) pulled over a black_thong (black_panties). The suit exposes her cleavage, primarily showing side_boob Her voice was also significantly changed in the anime, becoming much deeper, harsher and less feminine than it was originally in the game. Since this new voice was used for her summer lines, it will likely be the new standard.
