Now Viewing: onbashiraTag type: General 御柱 (おんばしら / みばしら) Onbashira [ AKA: mibashira ] (御柱 honored pillars) are pillars used during a Shinto festival of the same name. In the Touhou Project, they are commonly used at the Moriya_Shrine and can be seen standing at the Divine Lake. Yasaka_Kanako uses these. From en.touhouwiki.net/wiki/Onbashira The onbashira used by Yasaka Kanako are usually four in number, with either an hexagonal or octagonal section. Both the onbashira at the Moriya_Shrine, those used by Yasaka Kanako, as well as other onbashira in the Touhou universe are most often covered in shimenawa festooned with shide.
