Tag type: General

Any sort of armor that is less fit for battle, and more fit for ceremonial purposes. Usually this means gold_trims or silver_trims, although any sort of accent coloring would apply here. In addition, engravings are often an indicator of ornateness.

As a rule of thumb, since this is an anime-image website, most images tagged with armor will have at least slightly ornate armor. A few stripes on a breastplate is not ornate. Bikini armor is not ornate. Something Qin Xihuangti would be buried in alongside his terracotta army for its sheer opulence is worthy of the tag. Think less post #4075012 and more post #4343071.
