Now Viewing: pyonkichiTag type: Character Pyonkichi (ピョン吉) is the "gutsy frog" in the 70s/80s manga and anime Dokonjou_Gaeru (Gutsy Frog) created by Yoshizawa_Yasumi. He was crushed by the protatonist, Hiroshi_(Dokonjou_Gaeru), but his spirit lives on in Hiroshi's only good shirt (living_clothes) as a Flat Surface Frog (平面ガエル Heimen Gaeru). He is constantly arguing with Hiroshi and is capable of jumping and forcing Hiroshi to come along with him. He was voiced by Chijimatsu_Sachiko.
