Now Viewing: shoutingTag type: General Shouting is not to be confused with yelling or screaming. Shouting is used to express a subject that is letting out a loud cry with a lower pitch/tone (you can still recognize their voice in it). This is usually the case when the subject is experiencing an "extreme" orgasm, or when being penetrated a little to quickly or forcefully, or feeling slight manageable/survivable pain. Shouting is different from screaming because a scream is a loud cry with a high-pitch, piercing tone (you cannot usually discern a recognizable voice). Screams usually correspond with extreme fear, panic or unimaginable/life-threatening pain/torture. Screams are more attributed to females, men have a more difficult time reaching the higher pitches that denotes a scream, but it can happen. Shouting is also different from yelling because yelling contains understandable sentences and phrases, whereas shouting is an unintelligible outburst of noise from the mouth without intent of having communication with others. Yelling is usually caused by anger or frustration directed towards another person(s).
