He has gold front teeth with writing on it that spells out Zeni, which means money. He is the smug money obsessed rich student council president/ruler of Osaka and weaponizes many stereotypes about the merchant city Osaka. His extravagant and flashy outfit is also likely paid for with his money. He opposes Kiryuuin Satsuki and is very different from her ideologically. He firmly believes that everything in the world is run by money and he uses money to get what he wants. He uses his seemingly limitless supply of money to bribe the people of Osaka to become his loyal soldiers who will fight to the death. He is unconcerned with the destruction that the battle of Osaka wreaks on the city as he believes that he can use his money to rebuild the city as good as new. His soldiers even use money as ammunition; their guns fire dollar bills at the same velocity as a bullet. The money used in the city also bears his moniker. He even uses old Osakan nannies as an information network; he keeps up to date on what's going on through the gossip the old nannies spread. He is also capable of fighting on his own. When he personally gets involved in combat, he wears a golden armored uniform that looks and moves like a giant crab. This armor covers his body and makes him immune to almost every attack. Unfortunately for him, Sanageyama Uzu discovers that Kaneo's armor has one glaring hole in its defense. He is also affiliated with Nudist Beach and has used his conglomerate's money to help support it.
