His works include School_Rumble and Natsu_no_Arashi! with the former being his breakthrough work. He also bears a physical resemblance to School Rumble's protagonist Harima_Kenji though according to him, only 30% of Kenji's character is based off of himself; Kobayashi put most of his personal feelings in the female characters.
