It tells the story of a young newlywed couple consisting of an otaku and his pregnant wife. Although none of the characters in the story are ever named, their physical appearances, relationships and bits of backstory suggest that it's a "possible future"/parallel universe/alternate reality/"what if...?" of Genshiken, another work by Kio Shimoku, although he has not explicitly confirmed nor denied that such is the case.
