It also began as an anime and is not an adaptation. It is directed by Ide Yasunori and written by Kuroda Yousuke. Music is composed by Takase Kazuya, Orito Shinji, and Nakazawa Tomoyuki. Character designs are done by Gohda_Hiroaki while the concept designs are done by Uon_Taraku It is set in the countryside. The exact place is never named, but the setting is based on Lake Kizaki, which is in Nagano, Japan. Kusanagi Kei is a teenage boy who is biologically older than he looks. This is because he suffers from a rare disease that causes his body to fall into a coma whenever he experiences extreme stress. Because of his condition, he has moved to Lake Kizaki and keeps his condition a secret, even from his newfound friends, to avoid any social problems. Unfortunately for him, his life becomes a bit more stressful when he encounters an alien spaceship landing in the area and witnesses Kazami Mizuho suddenly materialize in front of him. The next day, he discovers that she is his new homeroom teacher. He soon learns that Mizuho means no harm to him or humanity, but after he helps her move in, he suddenly falls into a brief coma and exposes his deepest secret to Mizuho. Thankfully, Mizuho is understanding of his plight after listening to his explanation once he wakes up. Mizuho, for her part, isn't supposed to let anyone know that she is an alien, but the two of them vow to keep each other's secrets. Things get more complicated for the two of them once the two are caught by the principal and his aunt and uncle in a suggestive position after an accident. Kei makes up a lie on the spot claiming that the two of them are married, a lie that the headmaster accepts, but now Kei and Mizuho have more secrets to keep; they must not act like a couple in public.
