Tag type: Character

A male Japanese fighting game player who often participates in tournaments. His real name is Taniguchi Hajime. He is often nicknamed Murderface due to his tendency to make some intense and intimidating facial expressions, as if he's about to murder someone, while playing. His pseudonym is derived from some of Yagami Iori's attacks.

His most well known accomplishment occurred in a 2010 South California Super Street Fighter IV match where he played Gouki versus ClakeyD's Ibuki. Gouki is famous for the distinctive pose he makes after he pulls off a successful Shun Goku Satsu. The screen flashes white once the move connects and the screen fades back in, Gouki's back faces the camera and the character 天 is both illuminated on the back of Gouki's karate uniform and a giant red version of the character flashes on the screen.

Tokido managed to emulate this pose in real life. Upon finishing off ClakeyD's Ibuki with a Shin Shun Goku Satsu, Tokido put his fightstick down and stepped in front of the projector projecting the game and the 天 character was illuminated on the back of his white shirt.
