Now Viewing: nomura_tomokoTag type: Character A brown haired and busty teen girl. She is one of Onizuka's students in Class 2-4. Unlike most of the students in Class 2-4, Tomoko has nothing against Onizuka and is one of the few students who does not introduce herself by antagonizing Onizuka. She is a kind and friendly girl who is friends with Miyabi. Despite Tomoko's kindness, Tomoko is often made fun of, even by Miyabi, for her ditziness and naiveté. For these reasons, she is easily manipulated. Even though Miyabi treats Tomoko poorly, Tomoko still sees her as a friend because she remembers Miyabi was a much kinder person in the past. However, being made fun of often takes its toll on Tomoko and she feels that she has no real talents or worth. She also feels very lonely. Onizuka senses Tomoko's sorrow and decides to help her out by having her participate in a beauty pageant (idol audition in the 2012 series). Miyabi also decides to participate in the pageant and Onizuka brings the rest of Class 2-4 along so that they can all watch Tomoko and Miyabi perform. Tomoko, and the rest of Class 2-4, doubt her ability to succeed, but Tomoko soon discovers her true talent with help from Onizuka. The live action versions of Tomoko are played by non-busty actresses although her core personality is kept the same. The 2012 version of her wears glasses and twintails the majority of the time. She is voiced by Kawasumi_Ayako.
