People come on... it was bound to happen. His reasoning to further pursuit his revenge was already too weak and at this point, it would be nothing short of anti-climatic.
No need to be anal towards Kishimoto. The poor guy has been doing slave work for more than 10 years now. Cut him some slack.

I hope you're not serious =_=
The punch in the last chapter was stronger than her previous punches (of course, now that she doesn't have to store chakra anymore, she can use her full power now that she unleashed the seal) but even her previous punches with half (or less) her chakra were the strongest in the manga...with maybe Tsunade as an exception, since she's her master...

It's just typical shonen bad writing aka "Oh crap, the power levels are totally out of whack and now I need this character to be stronger for the plot... what do I do what do I do... Oh I know! I'll just say that this character was actually just suppressing their power level all this time and they were actually super powerful! I'm such a genius! It's not like the retards who read and watch this shit actually have a brain."
Remember, characters are only allowed to do something cool once. Then they get kicked off the spotlight next week until they go through several more years of "training".
