What's the point of having that many fillers, really, now that the manga has finished the story ? Some of them are understandable, like Itachi's past being expanded, but others like the dreams were just useless crap. They even dared mixing the narutoverse with super sentai principles using the 9 jinchuuriki versus akatsuku and white zetsu minions in Killer Bee's dream, WTF ?

Perhaps they didn't know how long it would take to finish the manga and thus made plenty of filler just in case?
This episode was probably made and produced much earlier than it actually aired.

So definitivly most of those fillers are just cheap bucks for the producers. Like I said, some of tham are thankfully good, like Itachi's past being expanded, but others... blah.

@KnightMare : Except the final chapter was long published at the time of that dream filler i mentionned, meaning they still had the whole Kaguya thing as well as what's after that (not spoiling too much but there's something next) to catch up with a finished manga...

^ Anon : in the manga the immobilizing started after she reached them, and it made sense : it was Black Zetsu who started extending its shadow over to them from her finger tips. So you're telling me that they got immobilized long before she could reach them, here ?

@MyPitah : Actually, in the manga too Naruto stated that he was immobilized before Black Zetsu started covering them, I don't know how it works by Sakura experienced the same thing when Kaguya got too close to her for the first time.
Pretty weird considering no one had the same issue a few chapters later.
